Our Timber Framing Services
The services provided by Ashdown Timber Frame provide the complete design, manufacture, transportation, erection, roof trusses and certification of the timber framed building. We are also able to manage the entire project for you, or only provide the services you require.
Design
Depending on the complexity of the project, this phase may be handled in-house or outsourced. The aim is to plan the appropiate number of panels, with all the architectural features incorporated in the correct manner.
Manufacture
With attention to detail and selection of only the highest quality materials, our in-house manufacturing results in the majority of panels being prepared off-site which invariably results a higher quality build and a serious reduction in the delays commonly associated with traditional building techniques.
Transportation
The completed panels would be moved from our factory to the site both safely and according to the agreed schedule.
Erection of the Timber Frame building
With all the panels present we would assemble the building on site, on time and in the minimum amount of time. We would also work with other trades, such as scafolders and brick layers, to ensure efficient project planning.
Roofing Trusses
The correct type of roof trusses would be put in place, ready for tiling which converts the property to a water-tight shell and work can commence inside the property which brick or stonework is applied outside.
Certification
The final construction is then rigouriously checked to ensure the quality of the build and certified to NHBC standards or equivilent recognised building control.
